Can I use Microneedling + PRP while on low dose of Accutane

Hello Im on accutane low dose which is 20mg only alternative days, my skin clear now (no acne). but scars left. can i use Microneedling + PRP I heard that prp can fix acne scars and speed up healing process Thank You

Good question! I would recommend abstaining from microneedling while on accutane. While on Accutane you healing is not as good as when you are not on accutane.  This is why many cosmetic dermatologists refrain from treating patients on isotretinoin for at least 6 months after stopping treatment. Make sure that you are seeing a board certified dermatologist or plastic  surgeon that has cosmetic training before undergoing treatment.

I recommend avoiding microneedling and other skin resurfacing treatment while on Accutane and for atleast 6 months after you stop the Accutane.
