So, I went for my 1 week post-op appointment today for ba/lift and found out my doctor put in 50cc less than what we agreed on (which was 450cc) instead he put two different sizes in 373L and 405R He was in surgery today so I couldn't ask him the right questions I wanted to ask him directly. I'm 6' 155lb female and they look tiny on my figured. I find myself crying myself to sleep because I'm not sure they are going to look better than what I had before.
Answer: Implant Size Hello, Thank you for your question. It's too early to judge their appearance. When breast implants are first put into your body, they typically sit higher up in the chest. This is because it’s the path of least resistance – your body requires some time to adjust to their presence, regardless of whether they’ve been placed in a sub-mammary (between breast tissue and chest muscle) or sub-muscular (under both the breast and chest muscle). Immediately following surgery, you’ll find that your newly enhanced breasts appear very full and swollen, especially in the upper portion above the nipples. Your skin will most likely look very tight and your nipples may point slightly downward as well. This may make the shape and overall appearance of your breasts appear unnatural. Don’t worry, because they will change for the better, something casually known as “dropping and fluffing”. Should you still be concerned after 3-4 months, I'd recommend booking a follow-up appointment with your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to discuss your options. All the best.

Answer: Implant sizing I wouldn't rush to judgment here just yet. Your breast size can change, as well as shape over time as the tissues stretch out and loosen. If your breast tissues and skin were very tight before surgery, the implants can look smaller and flatter. The preoperative plan can change intraoperatively based on asymmetry not recognized preoperatively. I would wait for the implants to settle for at least 2-3 months, but have these discussions with your surgeon.

Answer: Implant Size Hello,I'm sorry you are not happy. You will need to talk to your surgeon. In my practice, when performing an augmentation lift, I almost always use the same size implant and control for size difference with the lift/reduction. I also put in exactly the size implant that we planned. Best of luck!

Answer: Breast implant size Thank you for your question. To early to think about revision. It can take 3 - 6 months for the breasts to heal, take shape and settle into position. Give it some time. If at 6 months you are still unhappy discuss having a implant replacement with your surgeon. Best of luck.

Answer: Hate the implants Hi, it is not uncommon for people to need time to get used to their new breasts. It takes time for them to regain they normal shape, especially after a combined BA/lift operation. There are limits to the size of implants that can be inserted it would be best to discuss with your surgeon why smaller implants than expected were used.
