I’m on my second month of Acctane 60mg and the 2nd week in to the dosage I noticed dryness around/inside my vaginal area. I thought it might have been a reaction to my tampon, but I now have rough, peeling, cracked skin on the “lips” and it’s constantly burning, peeling and sometimes bleeding. I went to my gyno and she said to just put aquaphor on it and hope for the best. It’s so uncomfortable/painful to the point it’s hard to wear panties or pants and I resort to wearing maxi dresses.

It is possible to experience back joint pains while on Isotretinoin. You should stop the exercises that cause pain until you can be examined by your primary care physician. Additional lab tests may also be indicated. Please be sure to be seen by a Board Certified Dermatologist.
Congratulations on the successful treatment of your acne! Generally, when your provider prescribes isotretinoin (Accutane), they have a certain goal dose in mind that they would like each patient to achieve. I would discuss with your practitioner to decipher if you received an adequate total...
While you are on Accutane, you should limit your intake of alcoholic drinks. Your doctor will do blood tests to monitor your liver enzymes, but how about a period of non-drinking as a way of participating in your healthcare.
