A common side effect of isotretinoin is dry skin, dry mucous membranes, etc. Heavy emollient creams or vaseline may help decrease the dryness and minimize the itching and irritation. However, if the itching persists, then I highly recommend you consult with a board certified dermatologist to discuss your dose of isotretinoin and to evaluate your skin. Take care and good luck.
