My voice sounds very nasal one week after septoplasty. Is this normal? When will it go away?

I had septoplasty surgery exactly 7 days ago. I sound VERY nasal. Is this normal? When does this go away? Will my sense of smell and taste return fully?

Excessive bleeding is bad. If this happens in the air your husband may be in serious trouble. Being a little weak 2 weeks after surgery is not abnormal but very week would not be normal.  You may want to check his hematocrit (amount of blood in the body) with a simple blood test that will...

This is a question best answered by the person giving you anesthesia.  It should not adversely affect your surgery, and you should be able to wear it after the procedure
