My top lateral incisors are not tracking after 2 weeks of wearing Set 5 of 16 Invisalign aligners, what should I do? (Photo)

It's a small 1-2mm gap, but it didn't start with Set 5. I completed Set 4, 3 and 2 with a 1mm gap or less. I just tried all five Sets to see how they fit. Sets 2, 3, 4 and 5 all feel loose though they did not fully track. HOWEVER, my very first set still fits tightly!! With Set 1 the tracking is slightly off. Should I start back with Set 1 and use chewies to get them to track fully before moving to a new set? That seems logical to me.

Invisalign can get complicated if you are having tooth lag.  You should take your aligners to your Invisalign dentist and have them check for "tracking".  If the aligners seat completely, maybe were tight for 3 days or so and you are using Chewies, sounds like they are tracking.  Many times we have to Procline teeth and develop spaces between teeth before we rotate them straight which closes some space and lastly we pull them all back together using a virtual c-chain programed in the aligners.  I would hesitate about going backwards as your early aligners should be tight....but going to a crooked tooth position!  Get with your dentist and stay in sequence unless they modify.

Very good synopsis of what has happened.You should, of course, check with your Invisalign provider. He or she should have some ideas to get you back on track.Starting back at set 1 with the chewies and wearing them the full 2weeks seems like the most logical approach.Again, speak with your dentist.
