I think that you can get a dramatic result with the right plastic surgeon.   Do not make price your main consideration.  About 25% of my BBL patients seek me out to perform revisions for them.Try to research this to find the surgeon who consistently produces the
results you would expect. Look at reviews on this site and see who gets the surgery right every time. Find
a board certified plastic surgeon who performs hundreds of Brazilian
buttlifts each year. Then look at the plastic surgeon's
website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can

Like you said, the fee will vary quite a bit from region to region. In NYC you are probably looking at between $8000-$15000.

Prices vary from state to state and especially city to city due to differences in the costs of living. Rent is higher in San Francisco so cosmetic procedures will cost more there. You mentioned Mexico - it's less expensive because there's fewer expenses associated accreditation of the operating room and safety in general. Higher standards cost more money. Check out the web reference link below to check pricing from doctors near you in Houston and in other cities across the US. Standards are high across the US but I'd caution having surgery elsewhere because if you have a postop problem, you'll need a doctor in your hometown to help and if that doctor wasn't the one that performed your surgery, you'll be charged to fix any problem you may have. And those extra costs will erase any savings you may have had by going to a less expensive surgeon elsewhere. 

Thank you for your question.I will try to summarize SOME but not all the reasons:1) basically you get what you pay for:     A accomplished, well trained, experienced, Board Certified     Plastic Surgeon with a tract record of great results will be be     more expensive than a surgeon in Mexico.2) overhead: cost to provide services: cities like San Francisco or    Beverly Hills are expensive places to "run" a office. These high    rent cities require a additional  legitimate fees to cover the     overhead.3)Non Board Certified Plastic Surgeons will offer their services at    at very discounted prices. Please compare "apples to apples".4)Bonified, Plastic Surgery training  programs offer a Residents    Training discount.In summary:1) if price is what you are looking to, buyer beware.2)this is you , your body, DO THE RESEARCH at minimum your surgeon should be a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.3I suggest you make at least 3 consults, learn as much as you can.
