I am scheduled to have a sliding genioplasty and my 4 wisdom teeth removed at the same time. I know my doctor (maxillofacial surgeon) thinks it is alright. I want to know what other doctors think. My thoughts are, since I am getting a genioplasty, it should be hard for me to open my mouth to get to my wisdom teeth for cleaning or inspection. Would I even need to clean or inspect the back of my mouth once the wisdom teeth are removed? Have you done both procedures at the same time before?
