5 months ago I had jaw surgery and sliding genioplasty. As a result my facial nerve was injured. Its very visible (lower lip/marginal mandibular nerve I assume). Is it possible that plate or new chin position is causing the stretch/injury? could revision to original position help my nerve? pls help its extremely stressful, I was not warned this is a possible complication. Im willing to do a revision if theres even minimum chance of nerve recovery. thank you
