Hi, I have dark skin with african heritage. I also have ezcema and over the years I have been left with dark patches/hyperpigmentation from where my ezcema has occurred. I was wondering what chemical peel would best suit my type of skin?

If your no longer peeling from the chemical peel, shaving is fine now. I would wait at least two weeks to wax, the chemical peel can thin your skin. Thank you for your question.Kate Ross, MD
