I am 58 with level 3 cellulite on my butt and inner, front, and side thighs. I am told I am not a good candidate for bodytite because I am a bit too lean and also have moderate skin laxity. Doctors have recommended Morpheus8 and others have recommended Profound. Do you have an opinion as to which works best to treat both issues and why? Please note that the photos don’t show as much cellulite or skin laxity as I really have. Thank you!
Answer: Treatment Of Skin Laxity And Cellulite When they occur in tandem, skin laxity and cellulite can be very difficult to treat, and, in most cases, we are aiming for improvement, rather than an expectation of a perfect result. In general, we like to combine Bodytite for tightening of the deeper soft tissue with Morpheus8, which inserts small needles that emit radiofrequency energy at multiple levels in the dermis of the skin of the affected areas. In some cases, fat transfer is indicated to smooth out deeper dents and skin irregularities. In other cases, an excisional body tightening surgery such as a medial thigh lift or buttock lift is indicated. The different treatment options must be combined and customized to each patient's individual situation to optimize her final result.

Answer: Recommend doing morpheus8 to reduce the appearance of cellulite and tighten the skin Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Improving Cellulite with Cellfina -- add Sculptra, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra, Cellutone, ZWave, VASER HI-DEF You need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best. Nonsurgical options give only mild improvement as compared to surgical lifting. If there is a lot of skin laxity, a Thigh Lift procedure performed at the same time as a VASER Hi-Definition Liposuction procedure (with ThermiRF, Renuvion, and InMode BodyTite) would give the most improvement. The best treatment for cellulite is Cellfina. However, a combination approach is needed to get the most improvement. I recommend Cellfina in combination with Sculptra injections and body treatments like Exilis Ultra, Venus Legacy, and Cellutone / ZWave. Start at home microneedling system (see link). For patients who are also looking for fat reduction, contouring, skin tightening and definition, we often suggest a VASER HI DEF liposuction procedure to get the most toned result. See an expert for a formal evaluation. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Cellulite Dear Dazzling551118, you might consider Cellfina to reduce the cellulite. Patients are usually satisfied after the treatment (over 90 %). I would suggest you to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon with experience with Cellfina.
