Answer: Best laser tattoo removal device Hello and thank you for your question. You are in luck, because black ink tends to be one of the easier colors to remove from the skin. While we offer a wide range of treatment options for tattoo removal, one of the best devices on the market today is PicoWay. This rapid-fire laser shatters the ink pigment in the tattoos, clearing the ink more thoroughly and in fewer treatments than other devices. However, the greatest factor in the success of your treatment is the ability to tailor your procedure to your precise needs. I offer more than 45 different lasers in my practice allowing for full customization of treatments. I wish you all the best as you pursue your aesthetic goals.

Answer: Enlighten for Tattoo Removal Hello and thank you for your question! Since it is a fresh tattoo, you will have to wait until the skin completely heals before seeking laser removal. Our practice uses and recommends Enlighten™, as it is the most advanced laser tattoo removal system in the market. This laser uses two different pulse speeds, Picosecond and Nanosecond, which allows our medical providers to tailor the treatment to each individual. Since EnlightenTM uses the most advanced technology, it creates optimal results in fewer treatments than older variations of laser tattoo removal, such as Q-Switched technology. In addition, EnlightenTM is safe for all skin tones. The number of treatments required depends on the amount of ink used, how deep the ink is, and size of the tattoo. We typically see complete removal within 6-9 treatments and it is best to wait 10-12 weeks between each treatment, in order to provide the body with adequate time to break down and dispose of the ink particles. The cost would be based on the size of the tattoo If this is something you would be interested in, research trained professionals in your area that use EnlightenTM and set up a consultation to determine if you will be a good fit and to discuss a treatment plan for your specific case. Hope this helps!

Answer: What is the best laser for all black ink tattoo? Hello, thank you for your question. The way a laser rids the skin of unwanted ink is, it shatters the ink into tiny particles and the body absorbs those particles. The latest technology in laser tattoo removal is the pico-second technology. The PicoWay Laser (Candela/Syneron) uses photoacoustic impact/pressure waves rather than photothermal/heat. This process has less heat, therefore it is more comfortable and the chances of hyperpigmentation are less. The Pico-second pulse shatters the ink into even smaller particles, allowing the body to more easily absorb the ink. This type of device can usually remove unwanted ink in about half as many treatments as the traditional Q-switch device. When removing a tattoo, there are a lot of things that determine how many treatment will be necessary. The quality of the ink, the density of the ink, where the ink is placed on the body to name a few. As an example, ink that is on the trunk of the body respond more quickly that ink that is on the extremities, like lower legs and hands etc... These areas are further away from the blood source (heart), therefore it is usually necessary to complete more treatments than ink that is on the trunk of the body. The body plays a significant part in the success of the removal. You can click on the weblink below and put in your zip code to “find a provider” of this technology in your area. Good Luck!
