How much should the average areola reduction cost without lift, breast reduction or implants?

I am 21 years old and my breast do not need a lift, breast reduction, or implants. I just need to reduce the SIZE of my AREOLAS. Can you please give me the average price to that. Most surgeons online give me the price to an average areola reduction combined with breast reduction, a lift, and implants. I just need my areolas reduced. Please help me! Thank you!

Hi,If indeed all you need/want is an areola reduction, it could be easily done under local in the office for $2000.Please know that you will need a permanent suture that can sometimes be palpable just under the skin to help minimize re-stretching of the areola.I hope this helps.Best wishes,Gary Horndeski M.D.

Thank you for your question.  If you truly need only an areolar reduction, then the procedure can likely be performed under local anesthesia and would not require a trip to the OR, which will reduce the cost significantly.  That being said, surgeons fees vary widely.  I recommend locating a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area to discuss your options.  Best of luck to you!

As this is not a common thing to do by itself, you'll probably have trouble finding an "average" price.  If done in the office, it will likely cost somewhere in the $1500-2000 range.  If in the operating room, that will probably add $1000-1500 to price. Best of luck.
