I am about 3yrs po from a full tt w/ MR. The other day I had to throw up, while I was heaving I experienced a sharp pain and noticed a bulge that wasnt there before. It was to the rt of navel about an inch. Afterwards I noticed that I now have a dip, a finger width wide and almost a finger width deep.maybe 4 fingertips longs. I notice this most when I flex my abs. Could I have popped my tendinous inscription?

A sharp pain during forceful vomiting followed by a new bulge or dip near the navel should be checked in person. Three years after a tummy tuck with muscle repair, possibilities include an abdominal wall strain, scar tissue pulling, a small hernia, a localized weakness in the repair, or a soft-tissue contour change; it is not possible to tell from photos alone whether a tendinous inscription or repair has been injured.

In your photos, there appears to be a focal indentation or contour change just to the right of the belly button, including the area you marked, but the images cannot show the deeper abdominal wall. Please contact your operating surgeon or a general surgeon for an exam, and imaging such as ultrasound or CT may be needed if the bulge changes with coughing, standing, or abdominal flexing. If the pain is severe, worsening, associated with repeated vomiting, a hard or non-reducible bulge, fever, redness, skin color change, dizziness, or inability to pass stool or gas, seek same-day urgent evaluation rather than waiting.

I am not sure what the "tendinous inscription" is supposed to be. You may have torn some permanent sutures or developed a small hernia. Please go to your physician a be checked.
