Loose abdominal skin - Will Renuvion work for me if RF Microneedling hasn't? (Photos)
Will Renuvion work for my postpartum loose skin if RF microneedling hasn’t? I’m 3 years postpartum, lean, and my main issue is loose abdominal skin, not excess fat. I’m also prone to laxity (I have significant breast sagging after breastfeeding). I’ve tried 3 sessions RF microneedling, 3 HIFU, and 10 cryosculpting sessions with essentially NO noticeable improvement. My abdomen looks fairly good standing, but when I sit, bend, change pelvic position, dance, or do yoga, the skin bunches/hangs over my waistband. I used to love low-rise clothing, but now the bunching is very noticeable. I don’t need a perfectly tight/“never had a baby” stomach—I’m fine with mild wrinkles and a natural look. I mainly want to eliminate the excessive bunching/hanging during normal movement. A plastic surgeon recommended liposuction + Renuvion/J-Plasma with abdominal sculpting/etching, estimating ~80% improvement vs a tummy tuck. Would Renuvion still be likely to work for me despite having no response to RF microneedling/HIFU? I understand it’s a different, subcutaneous technology. Is lipo + Renuvion reasonable for this type of lean postpartum laxity, or would you recommend BodyTite, VASER/HD lipo, limited skin excision/mini tummy tuck, or full tummy tuck instead? I also have endometriosis and have had abdominal lesions removed, so I may have scar tissue/adhesions. Does this affect the safety/effectiveness of Renuvion + lipo? Would it make a tummy tuck significantly riskier?
