At what age should people start to have laser treatments on their face and throat to remove wrinkles with maybe fraxel/enlighten laser? Is 40 too young if lines that are barely everso slightly visible begin appearing below their eyes? How young is too young?
Answer: Facial Rejuv -- PRP, Laser (Fraxel/Halo/Co2/moxi), emeragecosmetics COSMELAN ENLIGHTEN/ EMERAGESKIN AERIFY you should start now! ive been doing peels like enlighten every 4-6 weeks, dermarolling weekly (see link) and lasers ever 3 months since I was 27 to stay looking young. at home peels like cosmelan, enlighten and aerify along with dermarolling (EmerageSkin roller with anteage AERIFY MD ampules weekly, see link) should be started now to prevent further aging. For facial rejuvenation, I would suggest a combination approach of 1) skin care with products and PRP/microneedling 2) PDT light therapy few times a month with growth factors 3) laser treatments like clear and brilliant regularly and a few times a year Fraxel/halo Viva, Co2/Erbium 4) Sculptra injections a few times a year for collagen production with fillers like juvederm/restylane/belotero/radiesse/bellafill 5) thermage/ultherapy for yearly skin tightening with or without PDO or cone based instalift threads for lifting 6) botox every 2-3 months to stop movement lines and prevent lines at rest 7) deep microneedling RF like Fractora/morpheus8 for tightening of the skin 8) Vascular laser like vbeam/excel V or BBL forever young treatment every quarter (3-4 months) Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Best Age to start Laser Treatments Hello monicaregister, Thanks for your question. Age is not as important as the actual condition of your skin. There are a lot of people in their 40's that have accelerated skin aging due to environmental factors and lifestyle and women in their 60's/70's that have skin that is more youthful because they have taken great care of it. Having said that, a typical 40-year-old who has taken good care, can start with preventative treatments such as Broad Band Light HERO (if they are a good candidate), to correct, reverse and prevent sign of skin aging. This treatment targets pretty much an area (face and body) where the goal is to rejuvenate your skin. Basically, it promotes youthful skin, evens out pigment and blemishes and gives a youthful glow. It also stimulates collagen, resulting in softer and smoother skin. I recommend finding a great physician/clinic that has experience and can best plan according tp your goals and investment capabilities. Hope this helps! All the best, Manish Khanna, MD FRCPC

Answer: Best age to start Fraxel Typically I would suggest starting Fraxel treatments at age 30, however if you have sun damage at 20, you are still a candidate for the procedure. It is not necessarily age dependent, but skin dependent.
