Can the dentist drill out the broken part of the tooth in the crown and reuse the crown?

My tooth, with a crown on it broke. I am guessing I will have to have an implant. Can they drill out the broken part of the tooth in the crown and reuse the crown? The crown is in excellent shape.

We would need to see more of your teeth and full face to tell. But correcting your midline will require crowns, bridge involving all of your front teeth on both sides. Careful planning and smile design will do the trick.
