The doctor missed the target Massiter muscle but pumped 25 units of Botox in my face. I am horrified of what will develop?

I am not sure what you mean because there is not just one injection site for the masseter but either 3 or 5 depending on the method used. you will have no untoward effect from the injection you just had but find a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon to evaluate

Hello srg808 and thank you for your question. I am sorry to hear about your unfortunate experience. It is hard to know what was meant by the "miss" and then continue to inject 25 units. I would discuss your concerns with the person who performed the injection, as only he would know. 

Hello srg808,I am not quite sure what the injector would mean by he or she "missed" the spot.  The masseter is a large muscle.  If he or she felt the needle was not in the right spot, I'm not sure why he would inject.  Having already been injected, at this point there is nothing to do but wait to see the result.  The risk of an incorrect injection in this area is it can affect your smile.  The good news is the result is only temporary and will improve over about a 3 month course.I hope this helps and good luck. 

There really is not much to do at this point except wait and hope the side effects are minimal. This injection should be done by an experienced injector because the risk is an abnormal smile for 3 months. I'm sorry this happened to you. I've been doing this injection since 1994.
