Can I still get breast reduction 2-3 months after an abortion?

I should be having a breast reduction by end of march... but unfortunately I will be getting an abortion today because of unplanned circumstances. Can I still get my breast reduction in 2-3 months?

Thanks for reaching out.  As a matter of safety I think that you can continue with your plan to have surgery.  In regards to results it depends on if you breasts have changed much from your pregnancy.  But 2-4 months after the abortion they should be back to normal and would effect the final result.I hope this helps :)

You should be able to have the breast reduction.  Tell your surgeon about the termination. If your HCG level remains high, you may need a letter from the OB, a sonogram showing that no proof of conception remains, or whatever else will satisfy the anesthesiologist. Best wishes.

It might be a good idea to wait about 4-6 months to heal from your abortion first.  Best of luck. Of course, speak with your surgeon.

Hello dear!I recommend you to wait 4 to 6 months because of the hormones changes, and be patient to wait the right time. You may hear that you can have the breast reduction before, but one of the parts of the body that suffer the highest changes because of a pregnancy are the breast.I recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon for a good evaluation and to talk about your goals.
