You can do Radiofrequency to tighten the skin but it won’t help you much for fat reduction, I would wait 6 weeks before you get any other fat reduction treatment.
Yes, you can combine Kybella with other treatments. I recommend waiting 6 weeks, as swelling resolves. I hope this helps.
For best results with Kybella, I recommend Kybella combined with thermage, ultherapy, exilis. VASER liposuction in combination with ThermiRF is an alternative for contouring the chin, if you're a candidate, but requires more down-time. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer
Ideally you should wait 6 weeks post procedure for full effects from the Kybella treatment and for any swelling to subside. Kybella can provide fat reduction along with some skin tightening. After that you will have your true baseline and additional treatments such as Thermage or other radio frequency treatments for skin tightening or laser lipo for fat reduction can be used. If you're on a timeline to get things done more quickly it can be done two weeks post Kybella, but would be ideal to wait the full 6 weeks post treatment.
Usually KyBella injections has a few weeks of swelling i the injected areas. After the swelling subsides by about 2 to 3 weeks other interventions, like lipo can be offered or preformed. But best to be examined in detail prior to proceeding with any additional therapies in the injected areas.
We frequently combine fat reduction procedures like Kybella with skin tightening procedures like Thermage to address bout submental fullness and skin laxity. However, I would wait until 6-8 weeks after last Kybella treatment before having another fat reduction procedure in the same area.
I would wait at least 4 weeks after a Kybella treatment before treating that area again. You can use an RF treatment or Ultrasound based treatment to tighten the skin further, but typically I recommend multiple Kybella treatments, as one is rarely enough. Kybella gets rid of the fat as well as has a tightening effect. I recommend treating the fat to completion before using another modality.
Hi OlguiR,Kybella has a residual effect and you don't see it but fat is being dissolved. I am aware that some practitioners use RF one to two weeks after Kybella but there is no need to do it that soon. Kybella works over time and by 6 weeks you'll see more definition. TruSculpt, a treatment that uses RF melts fat and tightens skin, pretty much like Kybella. There is no studied protocol about which one goes first but if you've had Kybella, wait until the 6th-8th when the fat has localized and more easily targeted. All the best, Justin Harper, M.D.
Kybella injections at monthly intervals for 2-3 months to dissolve the fat in your neck. Belotero injections to fill the tear trough below the “bags” under your eyes (although a lower blepharoplasty would be a more permanent solution albeit surgery). Your lips are relatively thin and in our exp...
It is expensive and requires many sessions to make a difference. Look no further than the study that was the basis for its FDA approval. Investigators could offer up to 6 treatment sessions at one month intervals to achieve patient satisfaction. Approximately 60% of patients requires all 6 se...
Kybella would help with the fat below the chin and a hyaluronic acid based filler like Restylane Lyft would help with chin definition. The combination of both would also improve jawline definition. I think the combination treatment will work best.
