Yes teeth can be whitened in the presence of recession however if is VERY important to do this at the dentists office where he/she can properly block out the receded areas that are exposed. This will protect the sensitive tissue from the hydrogen peroxide gel and light used. I would not recommend at home whitening or white strips.Good luck!
No , this would not help, bleaching will not work over the roots , that are exposed with receeding gums , thats why you see yellow below the enamel , peroxide will not work here , i suggest you should get instead veneers .
The white stuff was the surface of your gums burned a little by the peroxide. That has sloughed off and the dermis underneath is healing. Will go away probably within a day. No need to see the dentist. Just brush gently.

Sensodyne is great. You can use it in combination with parodontax. I actually recommend that you use sensodyne in 2 week intervals. If you use it too much, it can become an irritant in itself.
