I'm guessing by now your edema has resolved? Typically it clears within a few days to a week. It is a common side effect, but usually not too bothersome.
It can be normal to develop skin edema and swelling after a fractora treatment. The edema is usually mild and similar to what you may experience after a severe sun-burn. Fractora treatments are performed with different energy settings so the higher the energy, the greater the risk of swelling. Our patient's have been very pleased with the treatments.
