I'm guessing by now your edema has resolved? Typically it clears within a few days to a week. It is a common side effect, but usually not too bothersome.

It can be normal to develop skin edema and swelling after a fractora treatment.  The edema is usually mild and similar to what you may experience after a severe sun-burn.  Fractora treatments are performed with different energy settings so the higher the energy, the greater the risk of swelling.  You should not have blisters or severe pain and the swelling should only last a few days.  I hope by now that you have contacted your provider for reassurance.I hope you have a great result.  Our patient's have been very pleased with the treatments.
