Help extreme frosting on dark skin. Is my face damaged? (photo)

I have been using retinoic acid at 2% strength every night for about 8 days now. I bought something multi fruit acid (it's apparently got all the AHAs) and have been advised to use it once every three days as a toner. But when I applied it it stung so much and my face turned white!!!!!! I washed it off immediately, then it stayed white for about two minutes before my skin returned to its normal colour. I just want to know, will my skin be damaged or peel extremely?

You appear to have a mid-dermal injury, with swelling, blister formation, lip swelling, and imminent peeling. You require expert care at this stage. A plastic surgeon or dermatologist isn't good enough - visit with one who routinely performs ablative (deep) chemical peel or laser resurfacing, as they will be familiar with the necessary interventions to take from here.

Please STOP self treating and see a term or PS asap.. It appears as a second degree burn but over the internet to hard to give definitive diagnosis...
