Thank you for your question. If done correctly, the results of a Brazilian Butt Lift should remain as long as your own body's natural fat deposits. However, at any given procedure, your surgeon can only inject and your body will only allow a limited amount of fat to survive and become a permanent part of your buttocks. One treatment is usually adequate, but for more significant enhancement, more treatments might be needed. As with any fat grafting procedure, the extracted fat needs to be treated before being transferred into the buttocks. And, as with any fat grafting procedure, some of the fat is reabsorbed during the recovery phase. However, the rest should remain permanent. I would strongly recommend finding a board certified plastic surgeon who is experienced in this procedure, since the technique of how the fat is injected makes a big difference as far as the quality and longevity of the results. Good luck!

Assuming it’s done by an experienced surgeon there is no need for multiple rounds. Best
I tell patients that the fat injected will not take 100%. Initially you also have swelling which will settle over time and so the final results may take a several months to see. Some patients want more fat after this, and often if there is more fat to harvest, it can be accomplished. But, it is the exception rather than the rule.
Superficial injection with larger diameter cannula will reduce this risk to the lowest possible risk.
Congratulations on your Brazilian butt lift! I commend you for paying close attention to your diet to help maximize your body’s healing process and your final results. That said, eating the occasional piece of pizza won’t hurt. Just make sure that you’re generally following a healthy diet while...
Hello dear!! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. This is part of the healing process and it can take up to 6 months to heal completely. Remember to always use your compression garment and follow your surgeons instructions. Good luck :)
