I had coolsculpting done on my left outer thigh, 5 months ago. It has created a noticeable dent and deformation when standing and even worse when sitting down (see photo). I had no deformations prior to this single procedure. What are things that can be done to correct this? It is incredibly unsightly and embarrassing.

Answer: Fat grafting There are a couple of options- you can take fat out around the depressed area to better conceal it (liposuction or additional Coolsculpting) or you can fill it with either filler or fat. I would go back to the provider you received the treatment from and bring up your concerns. They may offer you correction at little to no cost. Hope this helps!

Answer: Coolsculpting dent on thigh Good morning. I'm sorry to hear you didn't get the results you were looking for after coolsculpting. Unfortunately, irregularities after coolsculpting (or liposuction) can happen, and sometimes they can be pretty noticeable. It is difficult to really examine the extent of what you are mentioning from that single picture, however, there are a couple ways to try to correct the 'dent'. Depending on what the rest of your thigh looks like, one way would be to perform liposuction on the adjacent areas to try to blend in the 'dent'. Other possibility could be doing fat grafting directly onto the area that is indented to raise its contour to match the adjacent areas. These are all options that could be discussed at the time of consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon. I hope this helps! -Dr. Polynice
