Scar/dent left from TCA Cross procedure? (Photos)

First let me say that I am sorry that you are having this difficulty, which possibly may have resulted from treating too many enlarged pores too closely packed together at one treatment session, (essentially resulting in a deep chemical peel within a very small area), rather than treating widely spaced sites in a more pixellated (fraxellated)  fashion, which is preferable with traditional TCA CROSS. As to subcision lifting, I have two comments about this procedure, which I have been performing routinely for depressed scars since 1994. One is that it ordinarily takes between two and four treatment sessions spaced at a minimum of six week intervals to achieve maximal results. So, only two sessions without much result is more the norm than not. Second, it might be helpful to ensure that the subcision is being performed on more than one level within the skin. And finally, discuss with your physician the adjunctive use of a biostimulatory filler to give immediate lift and to further enhance new, native collagen and elastic fiber synthesis. Without doubt this is a difficult scar to treat. Last line would be surgery. Personally I would try HA fillers with subcision. It is up to the confidence of your Specialist if they would attempt non-reversible fillers on this area of the nose. Dr Davin Lim. Brisbane. Australia.
