Is a cheek lift part of a facelift? Or is a facelift only for the jawline/jowels?

A traditional facelift targets the lower face and neck areas.  This generally does help to improve jowls and the neck.  There could be some improvement to the cheek area with a facelift, but this is not normally the primary goal of this procedure.

Thank you for your question. Facelifts should be customized for each individual patient to help them achieve their unique aesthetic goals. During this procedure, the cheeks can be elevated to a higher, more youthful position. 
Some patients also add an autologous fat transfer to their facelift surgery to volumize the cheek area. Fat is harvested from the belly or thighs and meticulously injected into the cheeks to build them up and create a defined contour. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon who can answer any questions you have and determine the best course of action for your specific needs.
