My 7 year old daughter has had a mole on her nose tip since she was 2. Should we wait till she's older to have it removed?

It has grown slowly over the years. In the last few months it has become raised from the skin. Her pediatrician is not worried about it. I'm worried about her getting teased. Should I take her in for a consultation to get it removed now or wait until she is older?
