Is there any new technology or advancements in medicine to heal teeth that have been prepared for veneers?

The tooth structure that have been lost due to fracture or shaving could not be replaced by nature, it only can restored  with synthetic materials. Perhaps in the future science can help for the body to repair its own lost or damaged structure.

Unfortunately, if your teeth have been shaved down, you will always need something to cover them. Veneers, crowns, or bonding. At this time, there is no technology available to grow enamel back.
