Hello Dragon. The technology to remove red ink from the skin already exists. It is a 532 nanometer q-switched laser and these are extremely common. The original Picosure did not have this wavelength of light so it's very possible that the practice does not feel comfortable trying to remove it with the laser they have. Although the 532 nanometer wavelength works to remove red ink, it's very likely that because of your skin type it will also remove some of the natural pigment in the skin. When this happens you can end up with an cloudy outline of where the tattoo used to be and where the sin is lighter now. So, there is a tradeoff when undergoing tattoo removal with your skin type and red ink. If you are very light skinned African and the procedures are done very slowly and at lower energy, it's possible to minimize the loss of natural pigment. Best of luck.
Hello, red ink is possible to remove with a designated hand-piece. I recommend calling offices with a PicoSure and asking if they have the red ink hand-piece.
