Why isn't Vanquish working on me?

Question

Hi! I had 4 45-minute vanquish treatments about 2 months ago and see absolutely no results yet! I am fit, with isolated fat in tummy and flanks. I run 3-5 x per week and maintain a healthy weight. What the heck is going on?? Thanks for any input!!

I don't think vanquish works.  I would consider an alternative non surgical options such as Velashape/Ultrashape or Liposonix, Coolsculpting possibly or microliposuction which can give excellent results with very little downtime and something I specialize in.  Best, Dr. Emer.

We have had extensive experience with Vanquish fat reduction. It is important to take measurements and weight  to document your progress. If you are already thin results may be more subtle and you may consider some focal treatments with Exilis.  Follow up with your provider- we generally perform six sessions. Good Luck.

I think a complete evaluation should include all the parameters, such as your weight before you started treatment and 2 months after, the wattage used and the percentage of efficiency. It is very diifficult to judge results without those at hand.If strict measurements are taken and the patient does not gain weight ( you would agree that if the patients gain weight, that in itself negates the results) during the treatment, my experience has been that VANQUISH works so well that we have to slow down due to lumps of fat necrosis forming in the subcutaneous spaces.Make sure you discuss all of the above with your plastic surgeon.
