Early stage nipple necrosis? (Photo)

Thank you for reviewing my question. I am 9 days s/p Bilat Breast Reduction & Lift. My chest felt very heavy & hard today so I decided to do a good inspection for something suspicious. I believe I have early sign of mild incision infection, my breasts are VERY firm in the upper quadrant & I have an appointment to see my surgeon in 3 days, but if this looks suspicious for necrosis, I'll get in a lot sooner!! I'm hoping someone can put my mind at ease so I can rest tonight!! Thank you!!!!

The answer to this question is pretty astounding, after spending about an hour trying to get an answer for you and all the other plastic surgeons in California I was told the following: "Prior authorization for breast reduction is not required". CPT 19318 Reduction mammaplasty "just gets paid"....

No one can tell you with certainty what size bra you will wear after your breast reduction.  All we can say for sure is that your breasts will be smaller.  Seems crazy, doesn't it?Here is why:  the number of grams removed doesn't necessarily equate one to one with cup size....
