Is it bad to have no gap between gum and molar tooth?

Question

I had my wisdom teeth taken out almost a year ago. Now when I floss on the bottom right side of my mouth there is no space between the gum and molar tooth and I try to floss and it bleeds. The rest of the spaces between the gum and back molars floss fine. Anything I can do about that?

Your question is unclear and can only tell you that you should be able to floss between all of your teeth.  Schedule with your dentist and have them give you solutions to the problem that you are currently having.  Good luck.

Hi:Normally there is space between gum and teeth.  In some instances of surgical removal of teeth the gum might of thinned out and as a result there is not much space.  This should not cause you not to be able to floss in a normal manner. However, what concerns me is the bleeding. It is always best to consult a dentist to make sure all is ok in the area.

You should be able to floss between all of your teeth. Off you can't get the floss down, that means something is in your way and I'd recommend getting that evaluated.It could be something simple like a popcorn kernal, but even that can get incredibly painful if not removed.
