How many grafts can I get away with for hairline lowering FUE? 5000? (Photo)

I have had 8000+ grafts transplanted over 15 years . Has definitely improved the front part and crown area. I'm currently insecure with my large/ long forehead . I want to bring down hairline a few cms via FUE . 1. Is my donor area sufficient to lower hairline further ? 2. If yes , how many grafts would I be able to get away with, can I go more than 1500? Is my donor area sufficient for another 5000 grafts ? Or too light ?

Estimating donor capacity is very hard while the hairs are worn long especially if one had previous surgeries.About lowering the hairline ,you can roughly calculate that lowering the hairline 1 cm needs 600-800 FU grefts(very rough estimation)..8000 FU grefts is a very high number ,considering avarage lifetime donor capacity is between 6-8 thousand FU grefts..Maybe you meant hairs but not grefts.(1 fu greft is equal to 2.1 hairs)..And donor capacity is not unlimited,actually is the biggest and main limitation in hair transplant surgery..Age should really matters while deciding lowering hairline since hairloss is progressive and donor area should be better ready for rainy days..I hope it helps.
