I am 1wk post op reduction. Upon reveal, my right nipple looked as expected yet my left nipple was dark/lumpy/swollen. My surgeon needle pricked the nipple, to relieve pressure/stimulate circulation. I have been back for almost daily check ups to keep a close eye on it. It has been left alone (in terms of needling) for 3 days, yet it now looks raw/fleshy. I have been advised to cover it with vaseline and gauze 2x daily. I prepared myself more then adequately health wise. Possible causes/factors?
