I would like to know between morpheus8 and renuvion, which would provide a better result to smooth out wrinkled/loose texture from weight loss and possibly age (49). I am looking for general texture improvement and don’t want an invasive tummy tuck. Thank you in advance for your time
Answer: Skin tightening It looks like you might have a few remaining small fat pockets as well. Coolsculpting to get rid of the fat pockets followed by three monthly treatments of morpheus would be excellent for skin tightening. The best idea is to do some kind of skin treatment for every 20 pounds lost to give your skin a chance to catch up as you go. Congratulations on your weight loss!

Answer: Tighten loose skin on the abdomen with Morpheus8 treatments. Will help aid collagen production and give a more defined look. Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: When it comes to improving skin texture and addressing wrinkled or loose skin after weight loss, both Morpheus8 and Renuvion. When it comes to improving skin texture and addressing wrinkled or loose skin after weight loss, both Morpheus8 and Renuvion offer compelling, minimally invasive options, but their suitability depends on your specific goals, skin condition, and expectations. Morpheus8 Morpheus8 is a fractional radiofrequency microneedling device that combines the benefits of microneedling with the power of radiofrequency energy. This treatment works by stimulating collagen production deep within the skin, which helps tighten and smooth out the texture over time. It’s an excellent option for: General skin tightening and texture improvement. Mild to moderate skin laxity. Those who want a non-surgical, low-downtime procedure. Patients typically see noticeable improvement after 1–3 sessions, with results continuing to improve over 3–6 months as collagen builds. However, it’s best suited for individuals with mild to moderate concerns rather than severe laxity. Renuvion (J-Plasma) Renuvion uses a combination of helium plasma and radiofrequency energy to heat and contract collagen fibers under the skin, providing immediate tightening as well as long-term improvement. It’s often used in conjunction with liposuction but can also be applied on its own for skin tightening. This treatment is ideal for: Moderate to severe skin laxity. Patients looking for a more dramatic tightening effect than Morpheus8 can typically achieve. Those comfortable with a slightly longer downtime compared to Morpheus8. Results with Renuvion are often seen right away, with continued improvement over 6–12 months. Which is Better for You? If your main concern is general texture improvement and mild laxity, Morpheus8 may be the better option due to its lower invasiveness and shorter recovery time. It’s also great if you want a boost in skin quality without more extensive intervention. If you’re dealing with significant loose skin or want a noticeable tightening effect comparable to surgical results without a tummy tuck, Renuvion may be the more effective choice. It’s especially effective for areas with more severe laxity or after substantial weight loss. Consultation is Key Ultimately, the best choice depends on your unique anatomy, skin condition, and goals. A consultation with a board-certified provider experienced in both treatments will help determine the ideal option for you. They may also recommend a combination approach or additional treatments, like laser resurfacing, to optimize results.

Answer: Treating Loose abdominal skin In the photographs, it appears that you have quite a bit of looseness to the skin. I have been performing Renuvion for more than eight years and what I have to tell you That there are no skin tightening procedures out there. Renuvion contracts connective tissue below the skin, pulling the skin closer to the muscle. This does result less jiggle of the skin. Morpheus 8 will really do nothing for you whatsoever. You really need to be evaluated in person. From the photographs, it looks like you need a tummy tuck. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City plastic surgery.
