I got crowns on my four front teeth and I hate them. They are bulky, too big and squint. They just look like big fake white teeth. How hard is it to remove these and how can I make sure the next ones (if I can afford them) look better?

Answer: Removing permanent crown Hi: Normally it is not much of a problem to remove the cemented crowns. Most likely they have to cut out and the corwn can no longer be used. Best, Dr. Maddahi

Answer: Easy removal Sorry to have you deal with these results. As a cosmetic dentist, I wouldn’t had placed or cement those crowns on my patients at all if they had looked like that during try-in. To remove them is simple, once you’re numbed, we simple cut/grind/drill the crowns right off. The main concern is you can’t go without any new crowns or fillings to restore your teeth to a natural shape look because your teeth under these less than desired crowns were shaven down. As you said, you’ll need new crowns.
