I'm trying to find out if platelet rich plasma treatment will work for me. My issue is I need to thicken my thinning skin and it sounds like one of the few treatments that can do that? Will this work for me? Is there something even better or just as good but less costly? I'd love something closer to my geographic area as well if possible but am saving with a budget for travel if there's no other option because I really need a great outcome.

Thank you for your question. You’ve posed an interesting question regarding whether PRP or the Vampire Facelift® can reduce swelling and redness after a rhinoplasty, since PRP does have wound-healing benefits.First a bit about myself — I’m a Board-certified cosmetic surgeon and Fellow...
PRP is a liquid and can be injected at low pressure.High pressure injections such as thicker fillers can create back pressure toward the eye.PRP should be safe.
I don't believe you will see any change with this procedure. I have been to several meetings where this was discussed and no significant changes were seen on their before and afters. I think injecting PRP has potential for better results but I'm still telling patients to not expect too much.
