What type of laser skin lightening and lines removal can be done on my skin type?

What is my Fitzpatrick Skin Type? Types 1-6? I would like to use laser skin lightening treatments to even out my complexion. I don't know what my complexion color or skin color and tone is. Is it safe to use laser treatments on my face, based on my natural skin color? What is my Skin Color and what is my Fitzpatrick Skin Type, based on my skin color and tone, based on the pictures provided? Please answer.

Based on your photos, I would suggest you are a 5 or 6 on the Fitzpatrick scale. Darker skin tones require special attention, since many lasers and other treatments are not safe or effective for these skin types. In my office, we have more than 50 laser and light devices, which allow us to customize treatments to address any skin tone. Some lasers can result in worsening of dark pigment. Your face looks a bit blotchy and first you should be placed on a dermatologist recommended skin care program followed by a treatment such as Fraxel Clear and Brilliant laser. I encourage you to find a board-certified dermatologist with extensive experience treating darker skin. Through an evaluation and discussion about your goals, your doctor should be able to devise a personalized treatment plan that meets your needs beautifully.

Hyperpigmentation from any type needs a combination approach of peels like cosmelan, lasers like clear and brilliant and aerolase or laser genesis, radiofrequency like venus viva, and constant skin care and sun protection. Bimontly facials with silk peel dermalinfusion is essential to hydrate, exfoliate and infuse vitamins and antioxidants into the skin. Hello, you would be considered a Fitzpatrick 5-6.  You need to be careful doing laser treatments, only certain lasers are safe to use on fitzpatricks 5 and 6.  PicoWay Resolve is safe for Fitpatrick 1-6!

Thank you for your photos. Fitzpatrick skin typing is actually determined by answering a list of questions to create the score. From your photo, it appears that definitely you have a darker skin type, such as Type 6 or possibly 5, depending on your score from the Fitzpatrick Skin typing test. There are some lasers that can be used on darker skin types, but many lasers could actually cause burns or other complications so you will need to find a physician who is very experienced in dealing with skin of color. I would suggest that you seek consultaton with a physician who is experienced in working with darker skin types, who can help to properly assess your skin and advise you as to the best and safest ways to improve your facial appearance.
