I have just had my BA 6days ago. I am 5'2. I started out with a very small 32 a cup. He recommended this size and said 350 was the largest my body could handle before obtaining a "uniboob". But why did he choose the talls? I want size D boobs with a great amount of cleavage. Will these implants achieve this look? Do gummy bear implants allow for a good amount of cleavage or are they more like a natural saggy breast? & for some reason my breasts only look like a full B cup right now. Why is this?
Answer: Talk to your surgeon These are questions you should have discussed with the surgeon before your surgery. They could have explained the dimensions of the implants and how they fit your body. I would suggest you have this conversation with them now.

Answer: 1 week post op, some advices: Thanks for the question. Its too early to talk about results. In my practice, after performing a BA I recommend to my patients to limit the movement of the arms for two weeks. After that, you can move your arms taking care and always with common sense. In this regard, it's not advisable to carry heavy weights to prevent the implant out of position, and allow the formation of the physiological capsule around the implant, also to avoid pain and breast swelling.Kind regards,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol.-

Answer: Wait for some time The final appearance, shape, and movement are not exactly the same as normal breasts. The surgically enlarged breasts do not move in the same way as normal breasts. They tend to be firmer. The contours are usually somewhat different than normal breasts. In some patients these discrepancies may be rather noticeable. Although every effort is made to place the implants symmetrically, complete symmetry is rarely achieved. Immediately after surgery, the breasts are swollen and firmer. The final shape and size is approximated after 2 to 3 months, but up to one year may be required for the end result.

Answer: "Gummy bear" implants (form stable implants) As Dr. Lawton pointed out, it is best to ask questions before instead of after surgery. But it is never too late and you should address the questions you still have to your operating surgeon during your next visit.. I take that your young, slim with small firm breast and did not have any children yet. With tight, small breasts "form stable" implants are well suited to "shape" your tissues into nice looking breasts. "Tall" means that the implant reaches high up and is able to fill the upper part of your chest. A lot of the plastic surgeons nowadays try to pick implants which fill your breast pocket well. The larger the implants the larger the implant base. Depending on your breast width a too large implant will stick out on the side and in the middle, making it an "overstuffed" looking breast. Also your tissues have to carry a a heavier load the larger the implants. Even though we try to aim to "deliver" the size of breasts the patient desires these are thoughts why "too large" implants maybe not to your benefit.Your implants are placed into a 32 A cup sized breast "space" and the tissues have to stretch to the dimensions of your implants. It will do so , but it will take several weeks. You will see a larger and more "normal" feeling and looking breast. Be patient and ask all the questions you have to your Surgeon.
