I got an implant on 42 back in September. In November, the implant was still a little loose so the implantologist "tightened" it in hopes that it would stick. A few days later it became even loser and it was hurting. My implant was taken out in order to prevent some sort of infection. Now, my periodontist says I have to wait a year in order to place a new implant because I had no bone. Is there any other option for me? How long do I have to wait? What's the normal time for replacing an implant?
