Clear fluid filled blisters on my upper lip. Any suggestions? (photos)

You are pretty swollen still which can occur with Juvederm at 5 days.  It will improve and the lumps should even out.  Try taking some ibuprofen.  If they remain overcorrected you may need to have it taken out a 2 weeks.

There is absolutely no reason to do this.  I think manipulation of the filler is best to avoid, as the fillers are tested siginifantly before they are used on people. with proper technique and cleanliness there is reason for this. Best, Dr. Emer.

If you are unhappy reverse the fillers.  Pain and swelling are normal for a few weeks after injection and will go away more quickly with icing and oral antihistamines.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Mike,I suggest a touch-up or corrective treatment with a different product, Voluma.  Juvederm is too hydrophilic for the cheek area and thus causes too much swelling and risks uneven contour.  Voluma is less hydrophilic i.e draws in less fluid to the injected area, so there is less swelling an...

Thanks for the question. One syringe of Juvederm is a great starting point to enhance your lips. You can always add more if you want a fuller appearance. It is always best to under-correct when uncertain of how a patient will feel about the results.Good luck,
