I wanted to ask upon using a whitening system prior to getting my final perm. crowns replaced. currently have temps, but not sure if they will be damaged by using whitening products. Am i safe to use these while waiting for my perm. crowns. others are a2,a3 perm's are b1. want to make match as best possible sooner

Tooth whitening materials can harm bonding if used too frequently or at high concentrations. The bonding material will not whiten. Only tooth enamel can whiten. Whiten only teeth that have not been bonded. If you are picking up stains which is common with bonding then have your dentist smooth...
Hi:It's best for your dentist to evaluate the area around the brackets to see if it is stain or cavity. If stain then it can most likely to polished off, if cavity it has to be handled right away before it grows any bigger or deeper.Best,Dr. Maddahi
A porcelain veneer or crown is your best option. Whitening will not work on the bonding and since the tooth has had a root canal it would be best to cover the tooth with porcelain. It is weaker since it no longer has nerves.
