Hi. You should wait at least 2 weeks after Fraxel before having a Thermage. The answer partly depends on the settings of the Fraxel. If it is a medical grade Fraxel re:store DUAL at higher than average settings then you maye need 3-4 weeks. Regards Dr Charles Cope
I love both the Fraxel and Thermage Lasers. They are two of my favorite lasers when used in combination for non-surgical skin rejuvenation. I always suggest doing Thermage before Fraxel so that the Fraxel can be performed the following week. If you have already had Fraxel, generally I wait two to four weeks depending on which Fraxel and strength you had performed. For the best results please find an experienced dermatologist with a lot of experience in Cosmetic Dermatology.

Many patients who have Fraxel for wrinkles or scars at high settings are also prescribed Prednisone to help with any swelling. Please consult with your treating physician for verification but it is routinely prescribed.

Fraxel laser is great for scars, particularly on the nose. Without a photo it is impossible to know how deep that scar is and your skin type. Depending on each it may be wise to do the entire area. I also love Ematrix Laser for acne scars. They have a special tip if there is just one sma...
Our office has many different treatments for scars depending on the depth of atrophy or hypertrophy. Scars require a combination approach using our HI DEF protocol which uses a combination of lasers, topical scar modulation, and RF treatments to pixelate scars, improve contour, reduce...
