I was prescribed oral minoxidil 6 months ago and took one pill then stopped. I've taken two pills in the last two days. I've been hesitant due to anxiety about shedding. I understand this, now, to be hairs that needed to come out but are all coming out at the same time. My question is if I use topical, will I only shed in the areas I apply it? If so, should I switch to topical so that I won't shed extra hair in all areas including those that aren't a concern?
