Controlled rosacea with a neurogenic component - would CO2 laser be a good treatment for lip lines?

Just us chickens
My complaint is lip lines. I have controlled rosacea with a neurogenic component; in the past I experienced moderately severe burning to cheeks and forehead. Thankfully, I am not permanently red, but tend to flush and blush. My question is, would this preclude me from laser treatment? Would I be better with a skin peel? Can I have just the peri-oral area treated so as not to involve my cheeks and forehead?
