Depending on your examination, one of the simplest methods to repair your nostril asymmetry may be to consider microdroplet Silikon-1000 to lower your right side. If you would be satisfied with improved symmetry on front view, this non-surgical approach may be considered. Thank you. Dr Joseph
Hi Stefanie-The caudal, or lower free-edge, of your septum appears to be off midline to the left. Not sure if you have had surgery before, but the this can be corrected. Achieving perfectly symmetric nostrils is typically very difficult and not necessary. However, this can be improved and may improve your breathing as well. I would visit with an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon to determine what options are available to achieve your desired outcome.Best wishes.
The lower part of your septal cartilage appears in one nostril. This is simple to fix. The size and shape of your nostrils would be tricky to get corrected. I don’t think that part would be worthwhile
Thank you for your Question. The operation will be done by using the latest Ultrasonic Rhinoplasty device Piezo®: In traditional Rhinoplasty, surgical instruments known as rasps and osteotomies (hammer and chisel) are used to reshape the nasal bones by removing the hump and/or narrowing the nasal bone width. These tools are relatively imprecise and their use can lead to contour irregularities, etc. if not used in the proper manner. Recently, a technology that uses sound waves has been developed to contour nasal bones in a precise and far less traumatic way when compared to traditional techniques. Ultrasonic, or Piezo, Rhinoplasty is now the most advanced technology available for minimally traumatic nasal bone reshaping and hump removal during Rhinoplasty. There will be hardly any bruising and swelling which will make the recovery period a lot easier for the patient.
From the Very limited photographs, you appeared to have a caudal septal deviation, which Maybe blocking airflow on the left side of your nose.
Thank you for the question and photos and the caudal end of your septum appears to be deviated into one nostril but that can be fixed. So go on some complimentary consultations with experts and compare recommendations after a full examination and discussion of desired results Dr Corbin
I think the laser treatment is not necessary at all prior to surgery. In addition to not helping the thickness of your skin you run the risk of pigment changes. I would just get the rhinoplasty done. It’s true your skin is thick but you will still get substantial improvement
It is difficult to tell from the pictures what exactly could be going on. Some things we think about include residual swelling, scar tissue, displacement of grafts, etc. I strongly recommend that you make a follow-up appointment with your surgeon to discuss and be evaluated in-person. Best of luck!
The perception you have from your asimmetry may be less than the importance you are giving it: most of us( if not everybody, are not perfectly simmetric, but certainly a good Aesthetic Rhinoplasty procedure, property performed can possibly put the balance in your favor adding charm to your face...
