I had my BBL 16 days ago! And I loved it the first 3days now it’s starting to take a different boxy shape and do not like it? Will it change shape again or is this the shape?

Answer: BBL shape Hi helena2486,Thank you for your questions and attached photos. You will not see your final shape for 6-9 months. The areas of fat grafting and liposuction are very swollen and can change the shape. It is important to communicate with your plastic surgeon, who can make sure the swelling and shape is one they would expect.Hope that helps.Best,Dr. B

Answer: BBL result Dear helena2486,I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a BBL surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process at 16 days post op.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides you will be able to see the final result of your surgery.Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Society of Plastic Surgery
