I am 53 and starts to see sagging in lower face and neck. Have researched both thread lift and ulthreapy. I know the thread lift is instant but does not last as long while ulthreapy will take a few months to see improvement. What do you recommend based on my picture? Any other alternatives besides the two? Thank you!
Answer: Filler, Nonsurgical "Liquid Facelifts" Can Lift & Contour The Face & Define The Jawline The power of marketing hype never ceases to amaze me. The very fact that the simplest and fastest solution, namely the use of robust HA fillers, is not even mentioned in the question is proof of that. Threads, which I gave up performing years ago, is a minimally invasive (engenders downtime), relatively expensive procedure whose results typically do not last nearly as long as promised, and all too often gives rise to a host of adverse reactions, including infection, skin divots, puckering, and even spitting out of the stitches. Likewise, here-today&gone-tomorrow, faddish "bells and whistles" devices, like fraxels, RF and ultrasound machines, have far more marketing and advertising hype to speak for them than any hard science to support their use. Fillers, on the other hand, especially HA fillers are successfully used practically every day all over the world to lift and contour the cheeks, straighten and define the jawline and upper neck and treat jawline and perioral jowls. Make sure to consult with a board certified cosmetic dermatologist and be sure to ask to see his/her personal before and after photos before agreeing to proceed. Best of luck.

Answer: PDO Threadlift The PDO thread lift using Miracu or Mint threads, which are FDA approved, is an office procedure that supports, and lifts loose or hanging tissues of the face, neck and jawline. As it is performed through tiny pin holes, the healing and recovery is quick and painless. The PDO threads start to dissolve in 6-8 weeks and as they dissolve they are replaced with a column of collagen which can last 12-14 months, depending upon the patients anatomy and quality of tissue. In the hands of an experienced surgeon the procedure is safe and most effective. The second time the threads are used the results are actually improved as collagen and skin quality has increased significant.

Answer: Morpheus 8 Hi @cathytakahashi! I highly recommend Morpheus 8. Morpheus8 is a non-surgical treatment for full body skin resurfacing, skin tightening, and fat reduction of stubborn areas. It uses minimally invasive fractional radiofrequency energy (RF) to penetrate the skin deeper than other microneedling devices, triggering the skin’s natural healing response to promote skin tightening and lifting.

When different types of threads used for skin tightening and lifting you going to get immediate results and gradual improvement over next few month due to collagen stimulation. Threads will be absorbed by your body In about 6-8 months, but results lust 1-1.5 years and you get to keep collagen .

Answer: Possibly face/neck lift candidate It would be very difficult to decide how much benefit you would have from face/neck lift, without in person evaluation and discussion about your goals. While ultra and light therapy may offer some improvement in skin tone I am very much against tread lifts; waist of time and money. Good luck.

Answer: Facial slimming The two modalities that you mention have not provided the results that the companies claim. It appears that you have lower facial asymmetry (the left is fuller than the right side). I would consider facial liposuction to improve symmetry or a device called Accutite or Faceltite over Ultherapy.
