Answer: Neck PDO’s Thank you for your question. I won’t lie necks are one of the hardest areas to treat and restore. Therefore I say to all patients non surgical modalities will help but not cure. The easiest way to manage pt’s expectations is that if they want it gone they must go down the surgical avenue. Non surgical like PDO will help create some collagen stimulation which we anticipate will improve the over all look of the skin. I hope this helps and please feel to contact the Absolute Cosmetic team for further advice.

Answer: Considering a thread lift? Here is what you need to know first Hello, and thank you for your question. While a thorough examination of your skin is necessary, PDO threads can rejuvenate the lower face and jowls, as well as contour the jawline. An advantage of a PDO thread lift is that it can be combined with other procedures to improve both the quality and longevity of the results. Common treatments combined with the thread lift include Profound RF (microneedling combined with radiofrequency) or laser resurfacing of the face and neck. These treatments will improve the longevity of the nonsurgical lifting of the face and neck while enhancing the quality of the skin overall. Thread lifts are also used in conjunction with Botox and fillers to reduce lingering lines and wrinkles while restoring youthful volume to key areas of the face or neck. To determine the best treatment or combination of treatments for you, I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with a reputable board-certified facial plastic surgeon. Your surgeon can do a proper evaluation of your skin quality, customize the best treatment plan, and ensure the best possible outcome.

Answer: PDO Thread Lifting for Neck Thank you for sharing your question. Thread lifting works great when the superficial skin of the neck has fallen. When the deeper tissues have dropped, the threads don’t work as well. In this situation, other forms of tightening are required. See an experienced oculofacial surgeon for detailed evaluation and guidance. Good luck!
